Mount Fuji Private Tour

We were picked up at our Yokohama hotel by Lucas who came prepared with snacks and drinks for our day. Thankful for his English speaking skills as no-one in our party spoke Japanese, we enjoyed the ride and conversation with him as he shared his knowledge about the area and history. We made several stops at points of interest and we were able to take photos and shop for souvenirs

Lucas is a fantastic tour guide. He is so easy to talk to, very flexible and is a wealth of knowledge. I had such a fun time even though weather wasn’t great around Mount Fuji. If you don’t mind the early start I highly recommended the 5 am start time. We hit no traffic and pretty much had everywhere to ourselves before the tour buses start to arrive. We were then back in Tokyo

Bottom line up front : BOOK THIS TOUR! I can’t say enough good things about Lucas, and the tour we did with him at Lake Kawaguchi. First thing, he messaged early in the morning to adjust the schedule. Weather was iffy at best and he recommended a change to maximize our chances of actually seeing Fuji.
