I wanted to be careful with any tour because I was accompanying my parents who are in their 80s. I knew right away that we would be in good hands when Lucas started communicating shortly after making the booking. Based on the details about my parents, he immediately customized the itinerary and timing knowing that they'd be slower and less able to walk long distances. He arrived on time and was extremely pleasant from the start until the very end. He was extremely knowledgeable about the places we visited, all of which had unique and unforgettable views of Mt Fuji. My mom has more mobility challenges and he stayed behind and kept her company so that my dad and I could explore further. My mom really enjoyed learning about Lucas's life and he shared so much about Japanese culture that we might have been too shy to ask. I highly recommend Lucas and his customizable tour for anyone wanting to get the best sights of Mt Fuji and looking for someone who has a kind and naturally warm personality. We were picked up at our Yokohama hotel by Lucas who came prepared with snacks and drinks for our day. Thankful for his English-speaking skills as no one in our party spoke Japanese, we enjoyed the ride and conversation with him as he shared his knowledge about the area and history. We made several stops at points of interest and we were able to take photos and shop for souvenirs. Lucas had an excellent recommendation for lunch and handled procuring a table for us as well as making sure we were good with the menu. We explored the area around Mt Fuji and the Five Lakes. Lucas allowed us to set our pace and decide what kind of day we wanted to have. I highly recommend this tour—we were 100% satisfied.
